Today was a kinda weird but cool day. It started very early in the morning, like 3:45 am, it was kinda hard to get up 'cause i just get back home from the metallica concert at half past 12 am haha. I kinda thought i would like to kill my alarm-clock haha, but it was cool. My dad brought Betty and me to the vienna airport (thanks to you dad, you rock!) at 5 o'clock and the first weird feelings about getting to stockholm came. It was kinda a new situation 'cause I'ver never been in a other land on my own hehe. Well at the airport Betty and I checked in and then we went to starbucks to have some coffee to regenerate our energy lol. I had some nice frappucino blended coffee and Betty had a blended cream. Finally the boarding time had come and we went to check in. I swear to god I f'king hate the controls there, but okey it has to be done for our safety. Well, nevermind. At quarter to 7 we got on our plane, a little one (Fokker 100) from the Austrian Airlines and I just couldn't wait to take off hehe (Will add some video here later on). The flight was a very short one, we were there too early and had to wait for the guys in stockholm to get to our plane. The first view over sweden was sick. There is like 90% woodland, green and water, very beautiful. All houses were kinda weird set up, like in oval shapes or rectangular ones, well you can see it in the video. Stockholm Arlanda is a very nice Airport, I instantly loved it. The floor is all wooden and everything looks very nice and very new. It is a very nice silent and chilled out airport and you just can't feel other than nice hehe ;). Allright after getting our luggage we first went to see, where we could change our euros to some swedish Kronen. Wasn't that hard to find an exchange and well 5 minutes later we had our first swedish cash ( we just changed 40 € to buy our 7 day tickets for the SL lines). After changing the money we had to find our way out of the airport, so what could be better than going to the "turistinformation". After having looked up how we can get to stockholm (there were three ways, going by an airport train, going by taxi or going with the public transport systems), we went to the bus that would bring us to a train that goes right to Stockholm Centrum. Well we drove down till Märta with the Bus 583 and got there on the J36 till Stockholm C. It was a very long trip (41 km till Centrum) so it took us about a hour till we reached stockholm. The first impressions of Stockholm were very nice, we saw some of the older Buildings from (I think) Gamla Stan, the older part of the City. Allright we didn't want to lose too much time and we both were sick of our luggage so we went on to the blue line that took us to Västra Skogen. We went up a huuuuugeeee moving staircase and we were almost at the target destination. We are here in a district called Sulen or something and it is very nice in our neighbourhood. Very quiet and you feel very comfortable here. We are on the 6th floor and have kinda a nice view over the neighbourhood. Allright all the important things were done so we went on to Gamla Stan, to have more of our Money changed and to have a look at the city a little bit. We kinda searched like idiots for an exchange and it took us about 2 hours till we found a Exchange called Forex. It has not the best exchange rate but fuck that we paid not much exchange fees. Allright while we were searching for that exchange spot we went through some market places and a lot of shops. Was kinda cool we also found some "Metal Shops" where you can buy a lot of T-shirts for less than 22€. I also found some Sonic Syndicate Shirts that i don't have yet and maybe I'll get one of those the next days :P Allright we had to get some water too so we went on to look for a supermarket or something like that. I swear to you I've never seen a city where you can't find a supermarket there lol. We kinda searched for a supermarket but didn't find one so we decided to buy some water at Västra Skogen 'cause we have here three supermarkets. I wanted to speak there for the first time swedish but I didn't do it when i heard, how fast they speak there lol, better luck next time haha. Okey we got all the necessary stuff to survive some days of hell (just kidding) and we just staid at our room 'cause we were very tired of the whole trip. at 9 pm I called my parents via skype and well I kinda told them everything I just wrote lol. It is sick we have right now 23:15 and there is still dusk here. The dusk began at about half 10(wow!). Allright enough of me for today I'm still kinda tired and we want to do a lot of sightseeing tomorrow. I'll add some pics and videos the next days, so stay tuned for some updated.
